A California judge ordered Chris Brown to spend 90 days in a residential treatment facility for either drug treatment or anger management. The order came down during a probation status hearing just moments ago in a LA courtroom. Brown, 24, was also ordered to submit to periodic drug testing.
As you know there are rumors that Brown entered a drug rehab facility under the pretense that he was receiving therapy for anger management following his arrest for assaulting a fan in D.C. Brown’s handlers denied the rumors, saying Brown was under a great deal of stress and he was not taking drugs. But a well-connected insider said Brown is addicted to drugs “real bad.”
Russell Simmons Says Obamacare Already Saved “Thousands, If Not Millions Of Lives”
Media mogul Russell Simmons says President Obama’s troubled health care law has already saved thousands, if not millions, of lives. Simmons made his ludicrous claims in an op-ed post on his website, Global Grind.
“Yes, we initially wanted single payer, and we had to compromise back in 2009 for the Affordable Care Act,” Simmons wrote. “But, [Obamacare] is a damn good piece of legislation that has already saved hundreds of thousands, if not millions of lives. So, let us not give up now.”
Simmons did not provide any statistics or evidence to back up his claims.
