Murdered Woman Warned Facebook Friends She Might Die

An East St. Louis woman warned her Facebook friends that she might be killed just days before she was found stabbed to death in her apartment on Saturday night.
“If anything happens to me tonight just let my kids know I loved them dearly and tell my momma I love her,” Michelle Rowling posted on her Facebook page on November 25th.
On Saturday night, police were called to investigate a disturbance at Rowling’s apartment complex. Police found the 25-year-old bleeding out on the floor of her apartment.
Police arrested her ex-boyfriend, 25-year-old Montrell Cooper, according to St. Clair County State’s Attorney Brendan Kelly.

The corporate sponsorships keep rolling in for troubled music producer Kanye West, despite his recent rant against corporate greed. Footwear giant Adidas announced a new sponsorship deal with West worth $10 million.
$10 million might not seem like a lot of money considering the hundreds of millions Adidas and NIKE throws at professional athletes for endorsements, but West will reportedly receive royalties on his products. The lack of royalties is the reason behind West’s split with NIKE.

Someone in Los Angeles is going around leaving hundreds, and sometimes thousands of dollars in tips for servers in local bars and restaurants. The servers, waiters and waitresses who are sometimes stiffed on their tips are very grateful for the kindhearted gestures of the anonymous tipster. The person, or persons, who left tips worth $200 to $10,000 for servers, created an Instagram page where servers can upload their receipts called Tipsforjesus. The motto on the @TipsforJesus Instagram page is: “Doing the Lord’s work, one tip at a time.”

Police Take White Teen Away From Black Legal Guardians
The mother of a white teen who was taken away from her black legal guardians by Houston police officers is questioning the actions of the police.
13-year-old Landry Thompson, from Oklahoma, was in the care of her two legal guardians, who are black, when she was snatched by police after the trio arrived in Houston for dance training.
Dance instructor Emmanuel Hurd, his boyfriend, Josiah Kelly, and Landry were tired after a long day at the dance studio. The trio stopped at a gas station to get directions back to their hotel. After dozing off in the car, they awoke to find the car surrounded by police.
